Brazil - Croatia:
A good start to the Tipster, with all 21 participants submitting their tips. :-)
Everybody except Ralph tipped a win for Brazil, so lots of points were scored in this game. Congratulations to Alex J, Marco, Simon and Stefan who correctly tipped a 3-1 victory - 10 points for each of them.
Alex K, Andre, Mark, Matt and Soren all tipped a 2-goal victory, so they each gain 7 points. Everybody else (except Ralph) picks up 5 points.
As per the rules of the Tipster, "if the first goal scored is an own-goal, nobody will gain any points for the first scorer," so nobody gains anything for Marcelo opening the World Cup with an own-goal in the 11th minute.
Alex U tipped the first goal to be scored in the 10th minute, which meant he had the closest time, and gains 3 points.
At the end of Day 1, five people jointly lead with 10 points; Ralph, who just a few weeks ago won the Champions League Tipster, is currently in last place with zero.
